The oxygen didn’t go out of the room, but I could tell from the confusion on her face that she almost believed it did for a second. She looked around the room desperately, frantically. I’ve seen this happen many times before. It always takes three or four full seconds to notice me behind them — to notice the wire around their beautiful, regal necks. It’s like they don’t want to realize what is happening to them. I never said a word while she struggled hopelessly in her final dying minutes. I never do. (Taken with Instagram)
